Ham Radio Plates: Amateur Radio or "ham" plates are issued to amateur radio operators on request. The plates
are issued at a reduced fee, proof of FCC license is required, and the car must be registed in the Licensee's name.
The ham plates are unique for the lightning bolt seperator after the number in the callsign, except in earlier years
were the number in the callsign was a larger font.
